Update from Hearth on Classes - May 2012 I will not be offering a summer seminar this year. As you may already be aware, we had a big storm, Tropical Storm Irene, at the end of last summer. While we were lucky in the High Peaks not to have any fatalities, massive property damage occurred, roads were washed out and many homes were lost. The place I had planned to have the next seminar was heavily damaged. During the short autumn season, most labor was focused on opening roads and getting the damaged year-round residences prepared for the (usually harsh) winter. This summer there will be a lot of construction repairing vacation homes and rentals, so the dearth of suitable rentals should be temporary.
